George Washington Simmons 
George Washington was born in 1835 in White Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1880. George Washington's father was Francis Simmons and his mother was Martha 'Patsey' Sparkman. His paternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Drury, James D., Stacy, Martha, Tabitha and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the seven children.General Notes
