Benton Simmons 
Benton was born in 1906 in Bledsoe Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1920. Benton's father was Jacob Z. T. Simmons and his mother was Lorinda 'Rinda' Lawson. His paternal grandparents were Rev. Simon Dillard Simmons and Mary Lucinda Lawson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Casto, Carl A., Hershel, Herbert, Verlon, Bessie, Maggie Lou, Ruby and Ida. He was the oldest of the ten children.General Notes
