Alta Florence Simmons 
Alta Florence was born on January 14th, 1892 in Cumberland Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1930. Alta Florence's father was Drury Simmons and her mother was Emma Seales. Her paternal grandparents were Zachariah Thomas Simmons and Mary Louisa Dodson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James Tollaver, Samuel 'Sam' Walter, Carroll 'Carl', Andrew Harrison, Sarah 'Betty' Elizabeth, Mary 'Molly' Louise, Martha 'Mattie' Emaline and Nancy H.. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 86 on October 19th, 1978 in Bledsoe, Bledsoe Co, TN. She was buried in Blackburn Cemetery, Bledsoe Co, TN.General Notes
