Jesse Milton was born on October 6th, 1879 in KY. Jesse Milton's father was Thomas Jefferson Shofner and his mother was Mariah Elizabeth Sprowls. His maternal grandparents were William G. Sprowls and Sarah "Sally" Underwood. He had two brothers named Emmett and William J.. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 68 on March 13th, 1948 in Barren Co., KY. He was buried in 1948 in Bethel Baptist Cemetery, LaRue Co., KY.-
