Her paternal grandparents were Richard Shipley and Julinda Windom. She had a brother and two sisters, named Benjamin Wiley, Etta Earnestine and Julinda Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 89 on March 1st, 1971 in Steilacoom, Pierce County, Washington, USA. She was buried on March 5th, 1971 in Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma, USA.1 General Notes
