Bernice M. was born in 1897 in , , Arkansas, USA.1 Bernice M.'s father was Thomas Wilson Shipley and her mother was Fannie Woodson Warden. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Pascal SHIPLEY and Elizabeth Mildred LESTER. She had three brothers and a sister, named Charles Vernon, Marion Roland, Arthur Hayes and Eva Woodson. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 82 on December 17th, 1979 in Siloam Springs, Benton County, Arkansas, USA. She was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Benton County, Arkansas, USA.2 3 General Notes
Bernice was mentally impaired due to a spinal injury. She never married.
