Ann was born in 1406 in Clifton, Runcorn, Cheshire, England. Ann's father was John SAVAGE II and her mother was Matilda (Maud) SWYNNERTON. Her maternal grandparents were Robert SWYNNERTON and Elizabeth BEKE. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named William Arnod, George, Robert, John, Maude, Alcie, Blanch, Margaret, Beatrice, Mary, Parnella and Margary. She was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.-
