William Thomas Roberts 
William Thomas was born on August 31st, 1877 in Orange Co, NC.1 William Thomas' father was Francis 'Frank' Albert Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth 'Bette' Ann Crabtree. His paternal grandparents were James H. Roberts and Jane Carrington. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Eugene Cauncy, George Cain, Chester Francis, Charlie Wesley, Allen Elbert, Clyde, Mamie Mary, Rosa Lee, Annie Viola and Myra Caviness. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 89 on May 19th, 1967 in Durham, Orange Co, NC. He was buried on May 21st, 1967 in New Sharon Methodist Church Cemetery, Hillsborough, Orange Co, NC.1 General Notes
