William B. Roberts 
William B. was born in 1814 in Orange Co, NC.1 William B.'s father was Willis B. Roberts and his mother was Nancy Marcom. His paternal grandparents were William Roberts and Lucy Jane Umstead. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard F. G., David, Willis B., Martha C., Jane N. and Lucy A. Winnifred. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
