Pearl Jane Roberts 
Pearl Jane was born on January 24th, 1891 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Pearl Jane's father was Samuel Ayers Roberts and her mother was Sarah Lou Talley. Her paternal grandparents were James Ellis Roberts and Jane Moore. She had nine brothers and seven sisters, named Alvis Percy, Howard Linsley, Samuel Lester, Otho Lytel, Clyde T., Cecil C., Clarence, James R., Thomas T., Elizabeth Bell, Minnie Ethel, Lou Deane, Ruby May, Annie L., Jessie E. and Lillie. She died at the age of 85 in 1976.1 General Notes
