Narscissa W. was born in 1844 in Haywood Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1870.1 Narscissa W.'s father was Woodson Roberts and her mother was Mahala Roberts. Her paternal grandparents were Mark William Roberts and Lucretia Christina Parish; her maternal grandparents were William Roberts and Lucy Jane Umstead. She had three brothers and a sister, named James L., William A., Willis H. Len and Susan A. P.. She was the third oldest of the five children.1 General Notes
