Mary Allis was born in 1847 in Cannon Co, TN.1 Mary Allis' father was James M. Roberts and her mother was Louisa J. Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were Cyrus S. Roberts and Elizabeth Unknown. She had five brothers and a sister, named Alford W., Lunsford, Granville, John, Cyrus and Marinda Clementine. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
