Cornelius Roberts 
Cornelius was born in 1858 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Cornelius' father was John Roberts and his mother was Eliza Unknown. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Pinkney Thomas, David, Mary Susan and Martha Ann. He was the youngest of the five children.1 General Notes
