John Ezra was born on July 29th, 1921 in Orange Co, NC. John Ezra's father was John Ezra Rhew and his mother was Willie L. Garris. His paternal grandparents were John Ruffin Rhew Jr. and Sophronia Manolia Davis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Eldred Nathaniel, Aaron Leon, Huel Delma, Dennis Ray, Agnes Gertrude, Thelma W. and Shirley J.. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died on July 29th, 1921 in Orange Co, NC.General Notes
