Clarissa Tharocia 'Ressie' was born on February 8th, 1898 in Person Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1900. Clarissa Tharocia 'Ressie''s father was John Ruffin Rhew Jr. and her mother was Sophronia Manolia Davis. Her paternal grandparents were John Ruffin Rhew and Susan Roberts. She had two brothers and four sisters, named George Lebious 'Lebbie', John Ezra, Freddie Harriet, Drucilla 'Drucy', Euphenia Eunice and Tellie. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 94 on July 1st, 1992 in Roxboro, Person Co, NC. She was buried in Rock Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Roxboro, Person Co, NC.General Notes
