John G. Ramsey 
John G. was born about 1846 in Kentucky. John G.'s father was Alexander Ramsey and his mother was Bethany Phillips. His paternal grandparents were James Ramsey and Margaret (Peggy) Kerr. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Andrew Phillip, James, Elizabeth, Margaret Jane, Mary Ann, Bethany, Sarah B. and Lucinda. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died about 1920 in Kentucky.General Notes
