Samuel Ragland

Samuel was born in 1719 in New Kent County, Virginia, USA.¹ Samuel's father was John Ragland and his mother was Anne Beaufort. His maternal grandparents were John Beaufort and Katherine Swinford. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Edward, Evan, James, Pettus, Thomas, Martha, Frances, Mary, Anne, Sarah and Susanna.²
