James R. REID 
James R. was born on September 6th, 1856 in Mason Co., Kentucky.1 James R.'s father was James Layton REID and his mother was Julia Ann PAYTON. His maternal grandparents were John PAYTON and Nancy WALLINGFORD. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Perry L., Joseph H., William B., Mary Jane and Nancy Elizabeth. He died at the age of 10 on September 10th, 1866 in Parke Co., Indiana. He was buried in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Parke Co., Indiana.1 1 -
