Nicholas Prideaux 
Nicholas was born in 1491 in Adeston, Devonshire, England. Nicholas' father was Fulk Prideaux and his mother was Katherine Poyntz. His maternal grandparents were Humphrey Poyntz and Elizabeth Pollard. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Humphrey, Rev. Robert, Richard, Margaret, Alice, Elizabeth and Joan. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 in 1560 in Soldon, Cornwall, England.-
