Rt Hon Stephen Poyntz of Midgham; Ambassador; Rt Hon 
Stephen was born on November 12th, 1685. Stephen's father was William Poyntz and his mother was Jane Monteage (dau of Stephen Monteage of London by Jane Deane). His paternal grandparents were Newdigate Poyntz and Mary Parkyns. He had a brother named Joseph. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 65 on December 17th, 1750.General Notes
