His maternal grandparents were Thomas Berkeley de jure 5th Lord and Eleanor Constable dau of Sir Marmaduke Constable of Flamborough). He had a sister named Anne. He died at the age of 50 on September 1st, 1585 in Iron Acton.General Notes
