George Washington Parish 
George Washington was born on March 16th, 1822 in Granville Co, NC.1 George Washington's father was John Sihon Parish and his mother was Celia Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Roberts and Temperance Unknown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Claiborne 'Clayborn', Jeremiah S., Brodie, Temperance and Mary Louise. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 on February 22nd, 1880 in Carroll Co, TN. He was buried in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Carroll Co, TN.1 General Notes
