Brodie Parish 
Brodie was born in 1820 in Granville Co, NC.1 Brodie's father was John Sihon Parish and his mother was Celia Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Roberts and Temperance Unknown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Claiborne 'Clayborn', Jeremiah S., George Washington, Temperance and Mary Louise. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 38 in 1858 in Carroll Co, TN.1 General Notes
