John William Owen 
John William was born on December 30th, 1900 in Clio, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 John William's father was William Olry Owen and his mother was Etta Eliza Shipley. His maternal grandparents were Richard Shipley and Sarah Ann Fisher. He had a brother and two sisters, named Murrel Richard, Ina and Ella Burnette. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 83 in 1983.1 General Notes
