Walter Ogilvy

Walter was born about 1404 in Lintrathen, Forfar, Angusshire, Scotland.¹ Walter's father was Sir Walter Ogilvy High Treasurer of Scotland and his mother was Isobel Glen. His paternal grandparents were Sheriff Walter Ogilvy of Angusshire and Isabel Ramsay; his maternal grandparents were Sir John Glen and Margaret Erskine. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Giles, David, Patrick, George, Isabella, Margaret and Egidia. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died about 1470 in Lintrathen, Forfar, Angusshire, Scotland.²
