Howard Franklin Kirkman 
Howard Franklin was born on January 17th, 1912 in NC and his baptism took place in Census 1930.1 Howard Franklin's father was Charlie Benton Kirkman and his mother was Sarah Ellen Grant. His maternal grandparents were Ulysses Simmons Grant and Lucinda Bullen. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Henry, Edgar Benton, Frederick Carl Deforest, Charles Elwood, Dora and Garnet Lucille. He died at the age of 70 on December 15th, 1982 in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.1 General Notes
