Leonard Marvin was born on October 28th, 1912 in MO and his baptism took place in Census 1930. Leonard Marvin's father was James Monroe Higgs and his mother was Effie B. Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Moody C. Higgs and Nancy Jane Decker. He had two brothers and a sister, named Carl J., Eura L. and Naomi A.. He was the second oldest of the four children.
