Phoebe Anne Hicks 
Phoebe Anne was born on August 17th, 1899 in Roxboro, Person Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1920. Phoebe Anne's father was William Archie Hicks and her mother was Phoebe Anna Riley. Her paternal grandparents were David Alfred Hicks and Sarah Ann Rhew. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Albert Floyd, William David, Eligah Graham, Nathaniel Ward, Riley Garrett, Rosa King, Elizabeth 'Elizah' and Sallie F.. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 70 on February 15th, 1970.General Notes
