George Jay Hayward 
George Jay was born on June 7th, 1927 in Brewster, Thomas Co. Kansas.1 George Jay's father was *Joseph Henry Hayward and his mother was *Eva Elysbeth Mackey. His maternal grandparents were *William Piatte Mackey and * Leona Nancy Logan. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Fred, Arthur Edward, Joseph Wayne, Wesley Eldon, *Viola Mae and Ione Thelma. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 75 on March 30th, 2003 in Salem, Marion Co. Oregon.General Notes
