Roy Hester Gray 
Roy Hester was born on February 27th, 1892 in Macoupin County, Illinois.1 Roy Hester's father was Wilson Dennison Gray and his mother was Minnie Frances Taylor. His maternal grandparents were John Taylor and Susan C. Newell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Joseph Farnklin, Lewis, James Albert, Clara, Olive B. and Nellie E.. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 26 on August 10th, 1918.1 General Notes
