Blackburn Ben Goforth 
Blackburn Ben was born on February 6th, 1872 in NC. Blackburn Ben's father was Robert B. 'Rainer' Goforth and his mother was Jane Buchanan. His paternal grandparents were George Goforth and Nancy Jane Houser. He had two sisters named Sarah J. and Lula R.. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 61 on January 25th, 1934 in Spruce Pine, Mitchell Co, NC. He was buried on January 26th, 1934 in Yellow Mountain Cemetery, Plumtree, Avery Co, NC.General Notes
