Thomas Karr Givens 
Thomas Karr was born on January 24th, 1819 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. Thomas Karr's father was James Kerr Givens and his mother was Margaret Poage Givens. His paternal grandparents were Thomas G. Givens and Elizabeth (Betsy) Kerr. He had a brother named Eleazar Robertson. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 78 on December 7th, 1897 in Providence, Webster County, Kentucky.General Notes
