John Allen "Jack" Givens 
John Allen "Jack" was born on February 21st, 1790 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. John Allen "Jack"'s father was Thomas G. Givens and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Kerr. His maternal grandparents were James Kerr and Jane Robertson. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Kerr, Thompson, Thomas Kerr, Nathaniel Karr, William, Margaret, Elizabeth and Mary A.. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 46 on November 22nd, 1836 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.General Notes
