Otho was born on March 24th, 1416 in Compton, Devon, England.1 Otho's father was William Gilbert and his mother was Isabel Gambon. His paternal grandparents were William Gilbert and Elizabeth Champernowne. He was an only child. He died at the age of 77 on February 4th, 1494 in Compton, Devon, England.1 General Notes
