Fred Burns Gaylord 
Fred Burns was born on September 21st, 1856 in Independence, Buchanan, IA.1 Fred Burns' father was Edward Harris Gaylord and his mother was Sarah Maria Rich. His paternal grandparents were David Lewis Gaylord and Sophia Brakeman. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Paul Bullene, Hal, Anna Sophia, Gertrude and Sue Amerett. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 84 on September 9th, 1941 in Junction City, Geary, KS. He was buried in Junction City, Geary, KS.1 1 General Notes
