John Gascoigne

John was born in 1468 in Fryston, Yorkshire, England.¹ John's father was William XI Gascoigne and his mother was Margaret (Margery) Percy. His paternal grandparents were William XI Gascoigne and Joan Neville. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named William XII, Thomas, Margaret, Agnes, Dorothy, Elinor, Anne, Joan, Elizabeth, Maude and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the twelve children.
