Anne Gascoigne

Anne was born in 1493 in Gawthorpe, Yorkshire, England.¹ Anne's father was William XII Gascoigne and her mother was Alicia Frognall. Her paternal grandparents were William XI Gascoigne and Margaret (Margery) Percy. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Marmaduke, George, Henry, William XIII, Margaret, Elizabeth and Alice. She was the oldest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Dorothy.
