Rose A. was born on February 20th, 1880 in Taylor Co., KY. Rose A.'s father was Jesse M. Gaddie and her mother was Susan E. "Sudie" Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin J. Gaddie and Clarissa Tyler Druin. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Henry Palestine, Robert, Benjamin, George Washington, Samuel Edward, Jesse D., Sarah M., Martha Jane, Laura G. and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 75 on August 20th, 1955 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. She was buried in 1955 in Louisville Memorial Gardens, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY.-
