Henry Palestine was born on March 2nd, 1877 in Taylor Co., KY. Henry Palestine's father was Jesse M. Gaddie and his mother was Susan E. "Sudie" Skaggs. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin J. Gaddie and Clarissa Tyler Druin. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Robert, Benjamin, George Washington, Samuel Edward, Jesse D., Rose A., Sarah M., Martha Jane, Laura G. and Mary. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 62 on February 18th, 1940 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. He was buried in 1940 in Schardein Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY.-
