James Fraser

James was born about 1444 in Lovat Castle, Kilmorack, Invernesshire, Scotland. James' father was Thomas Fraser and his mother was Janet Dunbar. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Fraser and Janet Fenton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, 1st Lord Lovat Hugh, William, Margaret, Isobelle, Janet and Egidia. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
