His paternal grandparents were Samuel T Foster and Sarah Jennifer Allen. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Eugene Calvin, Jessie R, Margie S and Helen Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 89 on October 17th, 2000 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth, North Carolina. He was buried in 2000 in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery Advance ,Davie Co.1 -
