Samuel Berry was born on February 3rd, 1873 in Barren Co., KY, US.1 Samuel Berry's father was George Henry Foster and his mother was Sarah Ann Elizabeth Gray. His paternal grandparents were Austin Foster and Lucinda Boyd. He had five brothers and six sisters, named James Edward, John Thomas, Henry Tweed, Charles Jasper, Benjamin "Bennie" Newton, Mary Susie, Nancy Ann, Georgianna, Lena Belle, Lucettia and Lorisettie. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 72 on March 5th, 1945 in Barren Co., KY, US. He was buried in March 1945 in Smith Grove Cemetery,Smith Grove ,Warren County , Kentucky.2 -
