Roy Thomas Foster 
Roy Thomas was born on September 30th, 1918 in Davie, North Carolina.1 Roy Thomas' father was William Thomas Foster and his mother was Bessie Sarah Chaplin. His paternal grandparents were William Henry FOSTER and Martha Marie LAIRD. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thurman A, Robert Lee, Paul E, Flossie, Addie Mae and Cathrine. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 90 on March 10th, 2009 in Salisbury, Rowan, North Carolina.2 -
