He had five brothers and six sisters, named William Edmund, Warrinton Dudley, John Allen, Robert Maxwell, James Alexander, Julia Ann, Amanda, Sophia, Mary Ann, Cordelia Elizabeth and Ellen Sarah. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on October 7th, 1928 in Sparta, Christian, Missouri.-
