Julia Ann was born on March 2nd, 1826 in Spotsylvania, Spotsylvania, Virginia, United States. Julia Ann's father was Robert Dudley Foster and her mother was Elizabeth Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Foster and Susanna Foster. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William Edmund, Warrinton Dudley, John Allen, Robert Maxwell, James Alexander, Rev Thomas Andrew, Amanda, Sophia, Mary Ann, Cordelia Elizabeth and Ellen Sarah. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 47 on September 8th, 1873 in Hollister, Taney, Missouri, United States.-
