Phernetta Owen was born on July 17th, 1849 in Indiana.1 Phernetta Owen's father was Bartlett (Bart) Foster and her mother was Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" O'neal. Her paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Elizabeth Harris. She was an only child. She died at the age of 56 on February 1st, 1906 in Kurtz, Jackson, Indiana, USA. She was buried in January 1906 in Gorbett's Chapel Cemetery, Jackson County, Indiana.-
