Joy Foster 
Joy was born about 1862 in Louisiana.1 Joy's father was Dr David Walker Foster and her mother was Melissa Spurlock. Her paternal grandparents were Robert F Foster and Elizabeth Grant. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Paul, Earnest, Foster, Hope and Trust. She was the second oldest of the six children.-
