Catherine Graves was born on October 30th, 1782 in Goochland, Goochland, Virginia, United States. Catherine Graves' father was Thomas Foster and her mother was Susanna Foster. Her maternal grandparents were James Foster and Elizabeth Parish. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Robert Dudley, Austin, Susannah and Sarah. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 1 in 1783.-
