Billy Clay Foster

Billy Clay was born on June 28th, 1933 in Davie, North Carolina.¹ Billy Clay's father was Romulus Alvin Foster and his mother was Nannie Bell Smith. His paternal grandparents were Brainard Taylor Foster and Elizabeth Ann Frye. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert Ward, John Taylor, Walter Glenn, James Thomas, Alvin Gene "Butterbean", Blanche Elizabeth and Wilma F. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on March 12th, 2004 in Gadsden, Etowah, Alabama, United States of America.¹
