John FitzAlan (John FitzAlan de Arundel) 
John was born in 1348 in Echingham, Sussex, England.1 John's father was Richard (Copped Hat) de Arundel FitzAlan and his mother was Eleanor Plantagenet. His paternal grandparents were Sir Edmund Fitzalan 9th Earl of Arundel and Alice de Warenne; his maternal grandparents were 3rd Earl of Lancaster Henry Plantagenet and Lady Maud de Chaworth. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Joan and Alice. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Edmund, Henry, Philippa, Isabel and Matilda. He died at the age of 31 on December 16th, 1379 in Irish Sea.1 -
